The First Year Seminar program offers several special sections of US 101US each Fall semester:

Veteran and Non-Traditional Students

For our Veteran and Non-Traditional Students,

we offer a special section of US 101US each Fall, geared specifically towards the needs of Vet and Non-Trad students and taught by an instructor with experience working with these student groups.

US 101US focuses on facilitating students’ transition into college. For Vet and Non-Trad students this means helping them figure out how to get back into the swing of school, since for many of our students in these groups, it has been a while since high school.

For more information on this special section and its instructor, please see the Fall 2026 Flyer.

For additional Veteran resources and support, see the MSU Veteran Services webpage.
